Springfield Welding & Manufacturing Co. Inc.
When working with raw materials, it is important to ensure their longevity against the weather and environment. Each project must be considered for sandblast and paint depending on the project's intended use. All exterior fabrications must be sandblasted before paint is applied to ensure this longevity.
Sandblasting can also reveal hidden information about an item whose origins are unknown, as has been discovered by numerous customers who wanted to clean up old treasures. Our blasting facility can handle structures that are 50’W x 80’L x 28’H to ensure that whatever comes through the door, we can blast it back to it’s original metal.
The final step in fabrication. After sandblasting is complete, fabrications are coated with basic primer to protect the item from rusting. Painting at Springfield Welding is an art form, and each project is carefully evaluated for optimal conditions. Our paint building can handle structures that are 40’W x 75’L x 20’H.
Our experienced painters recommend the following paint lines and products:
Dupont Industrial Coatings
Corlar : High performance epoxy primer/sealer with excellent adhesion properties.
Imron : Polyurethane enamel with notable durability, chemical resistance, and long lasting shine.
In addition to the various coating systems we utilize, Springfield Welding is also experienced in preparations for galvanizing and powder coating. We work with a quality network to optimize your order to fit your needs.
